This standard establishes actions to be taken for subsistence that has been discovered to be infested or contaminated by insects, rodents, birds, or other animals before or after final acceptance by an element of the Department of Defense. It provides a list of inspection and insect collection equipment, references, inspection procedures, sampling techniques, and insect collecting procedures.
