Product Code:SAE ARP715
Title:Performance Acceptance Testing of Air Turbine Starters
Issuing Committee:Ae-6 Starting Systems And Auxiliary Power Committee
Scope:This Aerospace Recommended Practice describes two performance acceptance test methods to determine the performance acceptability of new production and overhauled air turbine starters. Before a new or overhauled starter is delivered to a customer, the starter is subjected to a performance acceptance test in accordance with an acceptance test procedure. The performance acceptance test is intended to ensure that the customer receives a starter that meets or exceeds minimum starter performance requirements.Product Code:SAE AMS4169
Title:Aluminum Alloy, Extrusions 5.6Zn - 2.5Mg - 1.6Cu - 0.23Cr (7075-T6511) Solution Heat Treated, Stress Relieved by Stretching, Straightened and Precipitation Heat Treated
Issuing Committee:Ams D Nonferrous Alloys Committee
Scope: This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of extruded bars, rods, wire, profiles, and tubing. These extrusions have been used typically for parts subject to excessive warpage during machining and for parts requiring high strength and whose fabrication does not involve welding or forming, but usage is not limited to such applications.Certain design and processing procedures may cause these products to become susceptible to stress-corrosion cracking; SAE ARP 823 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
