【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversforced-convectionventilatedelectrically-heatedovens,operatingoverallorpartofthetemperaturerangefrom20Cabovetheambienttemperatureto500C,andusedforthermalenduranceevaluationofelectricalinsulatingmaterials.ThespecificationrequirementsforTypeIovensarebasedonIECPublication216-4-1,andaretechnicallyidenticaltoit.TherequirementsforTypeIIovensareessentiallyidenticaltotherequirementsofSpecificationD2436.Thisspecificationandanassociatedtestmethod,D5374,havereplacedSpecificationD2436.Whiletheovenscoveredbythisspecificationareintendedprimarilyforthermalenduranceevaluation,theycanalsobeusedwherevertheircharacteristicsmakethemsuitableforotherapplications.Thisspecificationdoesnotaddresssafetyaspects.Ifitisanticipatedthatovencontentsorthelocationinwhichtheovenistobeinstalledmaycreateahazard,thepurchasershoulddetermineandspecifywhatadditionalrequirementsareneeded.
