【摘要】:ThispracticeisapplicabletopackagingofcopperalloymillproductsforshipmenttoagenciesoftheU.S.Government.Itcoverspackagingofrod,bar,shapes,plate,sheet,strip,foil,wire,flatwire,rolledbar,forgings,pipe,andtubeproducts.1.1Thispracticeestablishesrequirementsforpackaging,packing,andmarkingintendedtoensureproperandsafestorageandtransportationofcopperandcopperalloymillproducts,bothforeignanddomestic,fordirectshipmenttogovernmentactivitiesorshipmentprocessedatamilitaryactivityoragency.Thispracticedetailsthematerials,methods,containers,andproceduresforthepreparationforshipmentofcopperandcopperalloymillproducts.Millproductswhereincopperisthebasicmetalarewithinthescopeofthispractice.CommercialpackagingestablishestheminimumrequirementsthatapplyunlessLevelAorBpackingisspecified(see6.1).1.2Units8212;Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsareregardedasstandard.TheSIvaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
