【摘要】:ThetestmethodsinthisstandardaredesignedtoshowwhetheragivenmaterialmeetsthespecificationsprescribedinSpecificationC967.Becauseofthevariabilityofmatricesofuranium-oreconcentrateandthelackofsuitablereferenceorcalibrationmaterials,theprecisionandbiasofthesetestmethodsshouldbeestablishedbyeachindividuallaboratorythatwillusethem.Theprecisionandbiasstatementsgivenforeachtestmethodarethosereportedbyvariouslaboratoriesandcanbeusedasaguideline.InstrumentaltestmethodssuchasX-rayfluorescenceandemissionspectroscopycanbeusedforthedeterminationofsomeimpuritieswheresuchequipmentisavailable.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforthechemicalandatomicabsorptionanalysisofuranium-oreconcentratestodeterminecompliancewiththerequirementsprescribedinSpecificationC967.1.2Theanalyticalproceduresappearinthefollowingorder:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.AspecificprecautionarystatementisgiveninSection7.
