【摘要】:ThistestmethodisusedtodeterminetherelativeresistanceofvariousrefractoriestodisintegrationcausedbyexposuretoaCOatmosphere.TheresultsobtainedbythismethodcanbeusedtoselectrefractoriesthatareresistanttoCOdisintegration.ThistestmethodissuitableforresearchanddevelopmentandforestablishingCOdisintegrationcriteriaforspecificationacceptance.ThedisintegrationoftestspecimensisacceleratedbyprovidingahigherconcentrationofCOthananticipatedinmostserviceenvironments.Theeffectsonthetestspecimensmaybedifferentthanthosefoundforrefractoriesinactualserviceconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthecomparativebehaviorofrefractoriesunderthedisintegratingactionofcarbonmonoxide(CO).ThetestmethodisanacceleratedexposuretoCOtodeterminepotentialmaterialbehaviorinarelativelyshorttime.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
